Why can't the Democrat's defend them selves? They keep taking the blame for holding up the energy bill.?

The reason they wouldn't pass the bill is because the Republicans kept blocking the alternate energy sections. They only want off shore drilling and no allowances for using or furthering solar, wind or other alternate sources of energy.

First off what good is wind and solar as a future energy use if it can never be a primary supply of energy, you will always need some other form to supplement it.

   the American Energy Bill is a trick.......What it will give Pickins and his crowd  is the right of eminent domain pretty much from Mexico to Canada.  A wide swarth of land to be taken through 6 different states.  It will cost a million fortunes.  Many thousands of homes and businesses and public lands will be taken and they will profit and we will lose to them again.   I too am upset that the democratics and some conscience republicans have not brought this atrocious SCHEME to the forefront.   Most of th e media that had the guts to speak out for us and against them have been punished and people have been fired and programs cancelled.  It is the facist way.  The bill is terrible.
