McCain's not incompetent, and he is as politically savvy as anyone. He flip-flopped more times than John Kerry already and its no where near November. Also, hardly anyone calls him on it as he's as much a darling of the media as Obama.

If you know of some technique that can guarantee a fighter pilot will not be shot down on a combat mission, I'm sure the air force would be delighted to take your call.

In the absence of that, you might want to consider the possibility that the hundreds of thousands of American soldiers who've been harmed by enemy action over the years  weren't necessarily all "incompetent".

Even the Great God of Aviation, Chuck Yeager, got shot down once.

McCain was flying combat missions over the most concentrated SAM site city in the world.

Obama has never been in the "arena" and not knowing how he would react is very troublesome to me.

Our current siutation is not conducive to electing an unknown.

Interestingly, the more I look at Obama, the less I see.
