checks and balances my friend.  would you really want 1 party making all the decisions of this country?  if we had 1 party the government would slowly turn into a dictatorship rather than democracy.

I think we need checks and balances. I think we need a strong third party. I believe this would create competition of ideas that is much needed in this country right now. I don't think it is realistic to think we will all ever agree on every issue at once. I think we would get bored after a while.
