Why can't the government just print out free money to themselves?

Instead of taxing and all that jazz why can't the government just make their own dollar bills?

    how do  you think they pay for the war.

    its why the dollar is losing its value


  2. The government don't own the mint, it's owned by a private company, the government have to pay for every dollar printed. to the Federal Bank, which is private, that's the national debt you have to pay.

  3. Very good question.  The central bank prints it, government borrows it with interest.

    I never understood why government doesn't just print and spend it into circulation.  No debt and no interest.

  4. The more bill they make, the less each one is worth.

  5. Inflation = too many dollars chasing too little stuff.
