    do you want the government to pay for this

    or would you like a private company to pay for the reception You want?

  3. They can, they just want to know how much the networks will pay for it.

  4. Thank God there is no reception in the subway. It is one of the few places i like to be these days

  6. well its under ground so it hard to get saterlight singnal like when you go underground in a car park the radio goes funny coz it cant get no signal

  7. Simply because the signal isn't strong enough to go through metres of concrete and stone. If it were, you'd have a seriously frazzled head. However, London Transport are working on a scheme to enable tube trains to recieve signal underground via some ariels on trains. No longer will the tube be silent. This already works on the Docklands Light Railway tube lines.

  8. It's not financially viable and plus the underground is one of the few places you can get away from mobiles going off all the time so why on earth would you want to ruin that?
