I've been following the Caylee Anthony story since the day it came out on the news, but what I don't get is why they don't do a pollygraph(sp?) test with Casey?

  1. They can't make someone do a lie detector test. The suspect has to agree to it, and her lawyer is crazy but not a complete moron. She just lies about everything so she'd fail the whole thing.

The prosecutors can't use a lie detector in court anyway because they aren't accurate enough. So even if they got info from it that said her stories were all lies it wouldn't do them any good. They already know she has lied about everything and have figured it all out without the tests anyway.

  2. I think she would have to agree to it, and I doubt she would because it is pretty obvious she is lying and has done something to her daughter.

  3. I believe she would have to agree to the test. I don't think you can be forced to take one.

  4. since they can be beaten and can also indicate a lie when there isn't one they are not admissible in court as evidence  I can almost assure you though , she will be in jail for a LONG time. As much as I'd love to see Calee show up alive and well I doubt this is going to happen and the best thing to happen to her mother would be to turn her loose in her own town and let everybody know when and where that would take place.

I truly believe the town people would give Calee her justice. I am not for mob justice but in this case I would gladly make an exception.

  5. They can not legally prosecute someone on lie detector results alone. They need hard evidence.

Though I do agree with you...it would be quite interesting to see what the results would be for Casey.

  6. As many lies as that woman has told...that would destroy the best lie detector machine known to man...!!!!

  7. For one thing , Casey Anthony has proved to be a pathological liar and I doubt if the machine would give a normal reaction , since most people are not pathological . I feel that police know the girl got rid of her baby , but are looking for a way to avoid serious charges or they'd have arrested her for obvious murder and obstructing justice . Even the grandma , Cindy obstructed justice and should have been questioned . Cindy knew the car had the odor of a dead body , yet she then proceeded to wash the child's filthy clothes - knowing she was missing on top of it ? Grampa has clout; he was in law enforcement . I think that's the answer here .

  8. Their not accurate.

  9. she wont pass anyways

  10. Lie detectors are often faulty, and therefore can't be used as evidence in court. So if she fails the polygraph, if they don't have any other evidence- prosecutors would just be sitting on their hands.

  11. They could have already asked her.  I doubt her attorney will let her.    She lies so much about everything not sure if she knows what the truth is.
