  1. That is not true.  You can definitely put more than one gerbil in a ten gallon tank.  They don't need a lot of room.  I keep my four boys in a ten gallon tank and they love it.  They are very happy and healthy.  I have had them for a year and a half.  They get along great and love to sleep snuggled together.  I provide great care for my gerbils.  I don't think I'm a bad gerbil owner because I keep them in a ten gallon tank.  They have more than enough room.

  2. Seriously, have you seen how compact a 10g tank is? It's cramped enough for 1 gerbil!

20g or larger for multiple gerbils. More space equals less risk of territorial fighting.

Please do research on proper caging for gerbils. If you're going to get a pet, make sure you provide the best care, including housing, that you can.

  3. one gerbil need 10 gallons of space and every gerbil after that needs 5 more gallons

    That's Why!

More space is all way welcome

  4. you need a 20 gallon tank for a gerbils to be happy!
