Why can't use LAUNCHcast on Mac OS X?

  1. Because Launchcast requires Internet Explorer and Windows Media Player to work.  Unfortunately for users of other platforms, those are the design decisions Yahoo made.


  2. Launchcast requires Windows Media Player, which I believe is not compatible with Mac OS X.

  3. I think that mac just requires different internet componets but it might be available soon.

  4. LAUNCHcast radio currently uses Windows Media Player for playback. Unfortunately this is not compatible with Mac OS. Yahoo! is moving toward supporting your operating system in the future.

    You will however be able to access Yahoo! Music Videos with the new Flash Video player that is compatible with Mac OS.
