Why can't we be told which restaurant had the cluster of tomato illnesses?

  1. Don't think it's the restaurants.

    It's the kitchen's handlers.

    In not knowing how to serve the food handling.

    In serving the food.

    Before slicing the tomatoes.

    Wash it and let it dry.

    Use dry clean knife to slice or chop it.

    Do not use knife that is still wet and contaminated with water.

    After slicing or cutting .

    Do not mix it.

    Keep it separately from other veggie.

    Serve with what's available.

    Not enough .

    Add some more.

    Any left-overs .

    Better dispose it.

    Don't be penny wise pound foolish.

    With customers leaving over a few cents with tummy ache.

    Once contaminated in the fridge.

    Will be spoilt.

    What happen in the kitchen.

    Is left-over being carried forward the next day.

    Notice the problems while having burgers in town.

    Where the stale food come from.

    Was from left-over tomatoes from the fridge.

    The bacteria will not be notice.

    Until one having tummy ache.

    That will be few days later.

    In tracing it back.

    If having diahorrea and irregular farting.

    The bacteria is active that build up the gasses.

    Take diahorrea tablet plus "Wyeth - Entox -P"

    According to prescription.

    That will clear the bad tummy.

    Whenever in town or travelling

    Take note on where the food is being taken.

    Next time will keep away from that place.

    Field experience while travelling ending up with bad tummy.

  3. Because the restaurants have discretionary rights. You do too if you eat there and get sick, you can sue.

  4. Your news station would have reported it if they'd known.

    Health officials probably didn't release the information because all the tainted tomatoes had been pulled and there was no danger of further contamination.  No reason to drag a restaurant's name through the mud.

    (By the way - the tomatoes aren't the restaurants fault.  They were likely grown in an area where sewage was allowed to leech onto the field.  Then they're harvested and were distributed in the food chain.  Only later was it discovered they were causing illness.)
