Why can't we e mail cuba?

There's an embargo, but I think you can email Cuba, it's just that you'd have to do it through some series of servers, email companies and networks that aren't affected by the embargo, which is probably tough to do. Cuba does have internet access, it's just that they block all of our websites. (which is like 75% of the internet... so they have pretty limited access). Also very few peeps in cuba have computers.

I am in full agreement with Neo....you CAN email Cuba...I have no problems emailing my friends in Cuba. They get email and they can email back...

Sometimes due to cost and/or dial-up connection being slow on some days, some have difficulty at times emailing quickly, but there is internet access for sure.

And they are actually fully aware of the outside world...more than you think they are....and even more than you and me lol...they're not as closed off as many think they are.

Because they are under the restrictions of a dictator. They can't be exposed to outside news, and emailing would give them access to all the news they want.

Tropicale is absolutely correct, you can email Cuba.  I'm in touch with several  Cuban friends who live there  via email.  You often get nonsense posted by people such as american and Ms Awesome  unfamiliar with thesituation  but who try  at every opportunity to run down the government.

Because they have a communist goverment which controls everything and keeps people from the outside world.
