Question:

Why can't we email to locations in Canada?

we have relatives in newfoundland and email are retuned every time. they can mail us. rogers is one of the carriers, simpatico is another. we have checked our adresses and they are good please advise.

  1. It could be a problem with your server or your email address is somehow being interpreted by your relatives' server as junk.

    Bear in mind that an increasing amount of email is not arriving at its intended destination thanks in part to spam email clogging the system.

    Maybe their mailboxes are full which can result in you getting your mail back. You would have to phone your ISP first to see if the problem is on your end. If it isn't, phone your relatives and ask them if they have a problem on their end.


  2. The most likely cause is your server is looked at by Rogers as a source of mostly spam.  You have to contact your relatives and get them to look into how to allow your email and recognize it as valid email.

  3. If they put your email address in their contact file, it should go through without a problem.  I had the same problem and that's what I did.  Hope it works for you as well.

  4. My suspiscion is that your email to them is treated as Spam.
