Japan is the perfect example on how to save energy. Japan is the cleaniest country in the world.

The Japanese corporations sell recycle energy efficients products and able to achieve profits. Remember, Japan is the 2nd largest economy in the world.

One reason we can't follow Japan model

1) We are all spoiled.

The Japanese knows how to save money and energy while the U.S knows how to spend and waste energy.

  1. They are also on a island the size of a single state.

That's like comparing the CEO of GM to the taco bell manager as it relates to building an infrastructure to support the people.

The quantity of people is more than double in the US and the land mass is x10. Again, not the same. the logistics involved and the infrastructure are light years different. Do more research. Let me explain in terms you will get.

If I have 10 people in one room I can provide them light with one bulb. If I separate those same 10 people by 40 miles I will required more wire, transportation logistical engineering more light bulbs and therefore more electricity to support the same amount of people. We are not on an island.

California alone is one of the worlds largest economies.

  2. hey

  3. because the government doesnt want to

    but we should

  4. Well Mr. concerned, why not turn your freaking PC off and quit playing on here using ENERGY that could go to something important?

Why cause you  are a hypocrite, hypocrite, hypocrite,

and a dumb one at that.

  5. Japan has been forced from the start of their technological revolution to be economically smart because they have to have all their fuel imported. This is very expensive therefore they must conserve. Additionally they do have the advantage of being an Island and most of their pollution is blown out to sea, this does not happen in big cities like LA and Denver. So part of their clean air is the fact that it all goes somewhere else.
