There was a man who carry the same name but early on was assassinated because he may carry the possibility which Obama now is enjoying.

It was easy to make him a dead hero than to be living pain in the neck of the conservatives just as easy to make Jesus a  dead King of Kings because he will never be threat to the real Kings of any nation.

Martin Luther hated Jews. He thought they should be driven out of their houses and dispossessed.
