Same as everyone else on the Planet they fear nuclear war.  Anyway, Israel is ready to take military action according to the news so it will most likely be taken out of our hands.

I don't know why?  They pose no threat to us.  Even if they get a nuke we have like 30,000.  The worst they could do is fire one and NORAD would pick it up on radar and we'd shoot it down.  Problem solved!  No major military action needed.  With this said WHO CARES!?! They pose no threat.

The US, or should I say the CIA working with some in Iraq got an ELECTED government (so much for us supporting "Democracy". What a joke!) overthrown because they were anti-US Oil. And who did "WE" BLESS! The pro US Oil Shaw of Iran (he sure wasn't elected)!! Well, now you know how the current government came into power. ALL thanks to our meddling for oil!! We even managed to get hostages taken, a president thrown out and another coming in (Reagan) who was selling arms to Iran. Until last year George Bush was selling Iran F-14 spare parts. They are the ONLY country that flies the F-14!

We want their oil is the bottom line, and control of the strait! We (some) are so greedy we never learn. Who do you think put Saddam into power?

We let them fight the Russians for us (sending them millions in cash and arms) and when it was over and 1/2 of their population was under 14 because of their casualties, we abandoned them as soon as they defeated the Russians! We can't afford another Iraq! The problem is in the US. Many in the US need to take a good hard look in their mirror! And the beauty of it is we didn't lose a person......BUT THEY DID! And they are angry!  Most in the US don't have a clue!

Ironically Reagan cut an ran from Lebanon when our marine barracks was attcked and over 200 killed by Hezbollah. Maybe Bush should think about that!!!!

'Cause our government (not we) is on a crusade to convert the world to "christocracy" and the Middle East is their current and long-time rival.  Nothing's wrong with Christ or Democracy, but Christ taught love and acceptance and there hasn't been a democracy in hundreds of years.

So, the truth probably has to do with money and power.  Read "War is A Racket" by Smedley D. Butler.  He was a Marine Corps general who spoke out against war before WWII, and he nailed it with this one.  I saw it as a free download, but I don't know where.

And fear is our government's greatest tool...
