Why can't we see Thunder?

We see lightning why can't we see Thunder we only hear it.

We see lightning because it's made up electromagnetic waves. But Thunder is only made up of sounds waves, which are nothing but a disturbance in the molecules of the atmosphere, so you can't see the movement of the molecules, but you can hear the sound.
