  1. Why? Do you want to know what's going on while you sleep? If you really could sleep with your eyes open, you would be vulnerable to injuries.

  2. Scientifically not possible for human

I know Frog can sleep with its eyes open.

But practically its possible for us too.. i have done that many a times in my undergraduate classes.. when its boring to hear the lecture of some professors.

  3. Some people can, but the biggest reason that we're biologically not supposed to are that it gets rid of distracting sensory stimuli like lights and movement that can interfere with sleep and closing your eyes protects your eyes from foreign objects that you wouldn't notice because you're sleeping along with preventing dryness. Try holding your eyes open for 8 hours. It wouldn't be very comfortable.

  4. when we close our eyes our eyes roll back and this membranous layer wraps it. If we opened our eyes while we sleep we'd be able to see everything.

  5. some people do but they  dont make themself its just there nature

  6. Your eye would dry out.
