Our government promotes bio-diesel, a 5% coconut oil mix with 95% diesel. I have learned that coconut oil solidifies in cold environment thats why cold countries mix their bio fuels with fossil fuel ( diesel ) to heat up. Places like Bougainville in Papua New Guinea use 100 % coconut oil. They used to import diesel but delays and importation costs hamper the supply. Now their fuel is like made from above. Some Bougainvilians uses 100% coconut oil for four years and reported no engine trouble. Not to mention the exhausts smells really really good. If they can do it, why the Philippines, the number one exporter of coconut oil in the world don't?
