Why can't you print flicker pictures?

every time I see a Tattoo picture that i want to print it wont let me.

  1. It is not yours, it belongs to someone else. Why not email them for permission? They might be flattered.


  2. you do know your stealing right?

    i like some of your things but i dont just go and steal them

    next time before you steal why not email the artist and ask if you can use one of their images and they might send you a bigger file that will print no problems

  3. Because the photographer owns the copyright to the photo and it is illegal for anyone to download them and use them without the photographers permission.

  4. Agree with everything above. There is a workaround for it so you can save and print them, but obviously you do not have the computer knowledge to do it, and *I* am sure not going to tell you how. Even when they are printed, they will not look good. They are sized with low resolution to help prevent stealing like you are wanting to do. I feel though, that you really do not realize this is what you are doing and only want the photos for some personal use, however, the original photographer does own the copyright and it would be the same as someone stealing something from you just because they wanted it.
