Why can you only see so far, even when there is no terrain, the weather is perfect and the place you are at is completely flat. I am just wondering. :)

  1. It's something called, the curvature of the earth. That's why we see a horizon, where the sky seems to meet the earth.

Notice when you look at the stars, you can see them...because there is no earth curvature inbetween.

  2. The eye is limited.

  3. you can see indefinitly,  though its not prestine or perfectly sharp.

if you are looking at the ocean you can see where the sky meets the water and that is indefinite.  the reason you can t see fartther is because the planet is round, and you can t see around it.
