Why can't you see the bats in the tree's during the day?

  1. Bats sleep where it is dark.  They might be sleeping in an attic or a hole in a tree or up underneath the siding of a house.  They would not be out in the open where you would easily see them.


  2. They do roost in trees during the day as well as under the eaves of homes and outbuildings where there is plenty of light. They do not have to have a dark, dank, scary cave or a great dead hollow tree.  When they roost they fold their wings up really tight and are actually pretty small.  They are there, it is just difficult to see them with all of the foliage.

  3. Bats are nocturanal. They come out at night and sleep during the day in dark places. They like things like caves, inside hollow trees, inside dark buildings. such like that. They don't hand out in the trees in the day time,
