  1. u have to cook them

  2. Of course you can. They're not eaten raw and alive.

  3. shellfish spoils INCREDIBLY quick.. a lobster dead for more than a day is going to rot and cause food-born illnesses.. a cow on the other hand can last a few days

that's why all the shellfish you find is dead and cooked and/or frozen or alive..

any cooked seafood you can find at a store came in frozen and was thawed before put on display..

  4. You eat both while they're dead.  Lobsters have to be cooked (processed) live because they are much more susceptible to bacterial spoilage.  Beef, on the other hand, is hung in coolers to age prior to being cut for sale.

  5. seafood is usually eaten fresh because it can spoil easier and doesn't taste as good when it's older

  6. If you are jewish you can not eat shellfish because they are 'unclean,' that is they are scavengers.

But lobsters are very popular around the world and so far as I know always eaten dead.

  7. Maybe because your allergic, or some other reason only known to you. If there is no medical reason, then you can. Lobster is considered a delicacy in many places, including the UK, USA and Canada.

  8. people do eat lobster :) as well as cows ! i think it just needs to be cooked ?

maybe im missing the point ! haha but ohwell

  9. cause you'll miss the lobster screaming as it is boiled to death?? idk
