Why can I not communicate directly with the president of my own country?

If everyone who wanted to communicate directly with the president of their own country, the sheer volume of communication would render him/her unable to read/listen and then respond to your communication.

In theory, that's why there are smaller representatives of states or provinces, districts or counties, etc.

First of all,  there are 300 million of us.  If we all communicated w/ the pres., He wouldn't have any time to run the government.  That's why we have elected representatives like; Congressmen, and Senators.  Hope I answered your question.

Because its a representative democracy.  Theres a hierarchy, you need to speak to your congressman.

Set an appointment with the Protocol Officer of the President so that meeting could be arranged for you if possible.
