Why can I not find a man who is interested in me at the same time I am interested in him?

I seem to scare men away. I am ready for a serious relationship & they may not be but surely there are some men who are decent and ready for a serious relationship, right? I am shy around men I like and can sometimes come off as rude. Any suggestions? Please keep the responses positive.

Of course men are scared away. You women have hijacked relationships to the point that any men that enter them are spit up, robbed, and tossed out. We know this. Turn L*****n and let some other woman find out the 'benefits' of a relationship with a woman.

imo we find people when we are not expecting it, or when doing somenthing we really love to do, there appears someone with a common interest.  So, maybe join a club or organization or take a class in something fun, where you will meet guys who like the same thing as you. i.e. ballroom dance class, pottery, judo.  Also, find a woman and/or a guy who you really think is a nice person and ask them if they had to set their sister up with a single guy who would they introduce her to?  Then ask if they could arrange for you to meet, something nonthreatening, like for coffee or a group movie and some pizza afterwards.  It is hard to meet someone genuinely nice, but law of averages will work.  If you seek to meet 100 guys just random chance will produce 20 nice ones.  Consider the 80 you met you don't like as a small price to meet the 20 nice ones.  Also, it helps to read the other sides playbook (I used to read Cosmopolitan for this reason), so maybe read GQ, or Maxim, or Esquire.  Finally, please take a serious look at the guy.  They may be nice and ready for a serious relationship.  But, if you are looking for a life partner, really think about if this is the person you want to spend the rest of your life with.  Is this a guy who will be their for the bad times not just the good.  Is this someone you can grow old with together.  Nice is important, but please don't also sacrifice having someone who will be a life partner.  Many guys are looking for a mother or caretaker.   You want a partner and lover.  Dating is great.  But, please don't sell yourself short.  You deserve to be happy not just now, but for your lifetime : ).

Finally, being shy is not a negative.  A stand up guy will like and love you for you, not for trying to appear to be someone you are not (or act like someone you are not).

you often find love when your not looking for it.im sure you heard of other couples say " it was fate" how we met.dont advertise yourself and love will find you.
