  1. It's down right now for new installments , even though it may seem to be up it isn't

Think about it.  Yahoo doesn't support Launchcast radio on Firefox and that's running on Windows!  The reason is probably the ActiveX issue and how to interface with Windows Media Player.  Yahoo doesn't support the toolbar with the Mac Safari browser.  It's an issue of time and money and market share.
