Why can I not trade mew in nintendo wifi

ON my pokemon diamond I want to trade my mew for a pokemon and it wont let me is says that pokemon may not be offered for trade.

Could you describe the problem a little better? What does it say when you try to take it into Wi-Fi? What does it say when you try to trade it through Wi-Fi?

Mew is a legendary Pokemon and hacked or not, you should still be able to tarde it. But, of course, if it's from a fake games like Chaos Black and Perla, then you most likely wouldn't be able to trade it.

it will not let you trade this pokemon. i do not know if wifi lets you still trade hacked pokemon. it probably just does not let you trade mews.
