Why can I only open bitcomet and not internet explorer via t.v??

Question

I have connected vga cable from laptop to t.v and can get bit comet no prob, but why can't I open internet explorer to surf the net through the t.v?? Just a question?

Are you saying you can't see it on your TV screen?  Can you see it on your computer screen?

You are using your TV simply as a monitor, not to actually run programs.  The laptop is doing that.  It should not matter what is running on the laptop it should display on the TV if setup correctly.

What keys did you press to turn on the external monitor function on the laptop?  Usually it is the Function key plus the F8 key.  As you keep pressing F8 it cycles thru the options.

Thry that and see if it works for you.
