  1. Excellent question. Some people look at elections as a porno or wrestling show where there is no place for honesty and decency. Karl Rove and republicans seems to promote such attitude by adding more lies and dirt

  2. The Candidates are giving us what "we" want.  When we citizens reject that behavior, which would be indicated in polling data, then the Candidates would change.  We like to complain about "our"political system, but "we" get the kind of government "we" deserve.   When we get our collective c**p together and demand a better service oriented government, then we will get that.  When we demand that scoundrels, crooks, liars and cheats be ousted and put on the street, then we will get that too.  Instead we makes excuses for our candidates because they are "our" party crooks, liars and cheats.  We are so blinded by attempting to win at all cost that we have opened the door for these bozo's and bozetes, to take office and more importantly stay there.

  3. Well I guess it's just-one-of-those things that candidates do. Just like Sen. Hillary Clinton was once Sen. Barack Obama's opponent he is still her friend and as a friend she would say nice things about him and support him with his campaign. Attack's on friends are common, it's not really to criticize, it's just the urge to win the presidency. Once all that is over we go back to life and we worry about what the new president does. Insulting commercials, are sometimes like friends having a fight. Later after the fight your still friends with that person.

We accept this behavior because its just a part of nature!

  4. Because all is fair in Love and War : )

  5. I have no idea, but its been that way for a very long time.
