  1. Do you mean to play back a home video?  This would depend on the format of your source.

    Let me keep this general.

    You need a player to play back your video, whether it is VHS, HI8, etc.  Hook this up to your TV using RCA red, white and red cable.  Set the input of your TV, turn on the player and press play.

    Reason why you may not see an image on your TV.

    -TV on wrong input

    -Player hooked up wrong.  Output may be mistakenly used as input.  Be sure colors match.

    -Bad cable or wrong cable.

    Contact your local electronic retailer to purchase the right kinds of cable or for more directions.
