So you want all English people to like Africa then. I think that's impossible. Do all Africans like England...do y'see what I'm getting at here?  So she's done some good work for Africa...this has nothing to do with her nationality.

If most English people were not like Emma Thompson then Africa would not be receiving such huge amounts of charitable donations. Be grateful and acknowledge the charity you receive in abundance already.

Probably because she's wealthy and has a lot of spare time on her hands, unlike most of us who are all struggling to get by as best we can day to day.

I am wondering why his own parents or relatives in Rwanda could not be like her.

I know that Rwandans had a tough time of it, but surely they should look after their own.

I think that boy with the education he is receiving should ask himself that one day, and go back to Rwanda and help the kids there and help pull that country up by its boot straps.

Yeah, if I had a load of money I'd probably be able to find the resources to help out someone less fortunate than myself - but as I have a family to feed and bills to pay, that level of altruism is just going to have to wait....

If she loved Africa that much she would have supported by donating and helping out some of the amazing projects in Africa which encourage education and health care for people there not just cherry pick one person to come and live with her like its some sort of human supermarket.

i have three children of my own and i am a very good mum to them

people should try their very best to bring up their own children and only have as many as they can afford to look after well

it is sad that people in some parts of the world have so many children that they need support from people in other countries

i would have like another child but decided we would be better to have three that we could bring up very well......

and apart from adopting children from abroad ....i am very like emma thompson ....lol

England as a country send millions to Africa every year. most people in England are busy working trying to raise their own families so they are successful enough to help your country when they are older. there are a lot of countries who do not care about Africa, England is not one of those.
