  1. Untill we develop fusion power, and that is a heck of a long way off then nuclear power is ultimately dependent on Uranium which is a finite resource, so this makes it a non-renewable source of energy.

Breeder reactors can make plutonium, which can make bombs, but can also be used as power reactor fuel but this still relys on uranium

Nuclear reactors do not generate Carbon Dioxide* in the way fossil fuel generatiion does, so they may be lumped in by the uncritical with clean renewables using wind, wave, solar, or geothermal generation.

*Nuclear reactors generate a lot of carbon dioxide as a result of the steel, concrete and other materials used in their construction, and in processing, reprocessing of their fuel and in disposal of waste - this factor often gets left out of consideration in comparing different energy generation systems

  2. Nuclear energy can be classed as renewable and non-renewable source cause when you make nuclear energy, from it you get other energy that can be used and from that energy it can be reused and etc.
