  1. The poor communities are not regulated cause everyone wants to ignore them cause they are worthless.

  2. Trust me you don't want the government's help. Look at all of the wonderful work the new congress has done already.

  3. Oh, you see and it's hard to accept that some people are transferring our tax dollars to Incs. that have know interest in rebuilding Iraq! Hence, they want us out! No one will fight for our puppet government we are trying to place there!

  4. Home of the free is not a government hand out, I have never read anywhere in the Constitution where the government is required to give money to everybody for a variety of reasons.

  5. The answer to your question is buried in the question:  you're attaching all your meanings to money.  "Billions" "poor" "rich"

Social problems don't actually have much to do with money itself.  Money is just a resource.  It's the apparent scarcity of resources that's the problem.  There isn't actually a scarcity - as you've pointed out there seems to be lots available to prop up a war.

And we live in a world where there are Haves and Have Nots.  It's been like that for as long as anyone has kept records.  Doesn't seem to be a situation that can be changed, either.

Me, I don't worry about it.  I keep my nose clean, my household in order, and work hard at my job.  I vote and I give back to my community.  Think globally, act locally.

  6. I think you are trying to make sense of complicated issues, and so you just oversimplify and demonize people.   There are some jerks in the government, but for the most part it's full of intelligent - but sometimes misguided - people who are trying to do the best thing.

Government allots specific amounts to specific causes based upon a lot of information gathering - they know things we don't.  Not that they always do the reasonable thing either.  But I think they understand the dangers of the world in ways the average Joe doesn't.   Also they allot funds according to what their constituents want to see. . . . and a lot of those constituents understand that although America has a lot of problems, an America under seige from the outside can't solve anything.   So protecting ourselves and our interests - even in the far away Middle East - is important.

I don't know why you believe that there aren't guns and drugs anywhere but in poor communities.  That is nonsense.  There is probably more street crime in poorer communities - more violent crime.   But guns and drugs, and murder, and abuse, and injustice and drug addiction - is everywhere.  Even in "rich" houses, my friend.

There is some madness. . . but there is a lot of good too.  If you don't learn to balance your view and see some of that good too, you're going to keep driving yourself crazy.  Think about it.  Brother Otter is very wise.  ;)

  7. Because we aren't selfish pigs like you! You liberals are all me me me me me, give to me! Well you want clean streets and honest politicians? You can start of by convincing those welfare cases to get off their *** and get a job! That will help clean up the streets. If you want honest politicians elect ones that are good christians that based their decisions on the judo-christian values that founded this country!

Lets see some effort from you!

  8. It's sad, isn't it? Everything they do is to benefit a few, not the many.

  9. Government should not regulate very much at all. Poor communities are not the only ones that have guns and drugs.  They are everywhere. Besides, the more gun laws the higher the crime.

  10. Sure.
