Why can people Immigrate to America so easily, but Americans trying to Immigrate else where suffer problems?

I don't understand how people can just freely come over to America at free will when Americans themselves just can't freely go someone where else to achieve the same goal a better life.

I'm not going Anit-American on people or anything like that I just think its extremely unfair its like if you were born here your a prisoner to the System.

Why is it harder for Americans to gain the same jobs that immigrants are going after especially the illegal ones?

These things I've never understood, please help me figure this out any opinions or views definitely welcome!

You are wrong that immigrating to the US is "so easy".  It's easy for some people - that is, sought after professions, refugees from certain countries, wealthy people.  Otherwise, there's a LOT of red tape and waiting.

It's the same with most developed countries.

The US takes in just over 1 million new legal immigrants per year. No other country comes close to that number.

For example Canada admits less than 250,000 per year.

Most other countries with exception of the UK have strict immigration laws and enforce them.

So I would have to say our immigration policy is too lax and we need to move closer to what other nations are doing.

So maybe it seems harder for Americans to emigrate because we are used to our own polices.

Ah sorry it's not as easy as you may think.  My husband is british and it has taken so long and so much money.  Immigration has no idea what they are doing.  You get one answer from one person and something completly differant from the next. Making it hard for someone to do it right.  I could go to England without much hassle, less than here that's for sure.

Ask our Politicians since immigration laws have been on the books since the 1980's, and since then NOT BEEN ENFORCED.  Perhaps IF our Politicians started to work for "we the people" instead of every lobbyist in town, the border would be built, the immigration laws strictly enforced, and we would NOT have the problem as it is today.  So, let's get cracking, OUST ALL POLITICIANS WHO ARE DOING WRONG BY OUR COUNTRY, AND WRONG FOR ITS LEGAL CITIZENS.  Seem most seem to care more for those who actually are not citizens.

If you are planing to immigrate to any other country you are REQUIRED to show your income apparently in the US you simply have to touch land (ask anyone in florida) I dont have anything agains any particular group or ethnicity its just mind boggling how the US stands for all that is right and lawful and they dont  even enforce their own laws if the US really wanted to deport us (myself included) they could but funny thing is they dont ...... the government has left it up to local goverments like irving tx and farmers branch tx  > both links provided

to try and sort things out even more shocking after the measures are passed "unanimously" they are proven to be unconstitutional by the high courts (link 3)

why dont people just admitt that immigrants are here to stay and the government does little to nothing to stop them sorry folks.

I hope you dont mind me asking but what job are you talking about i dont know any person that can work as hard or as long for the measly pay that they receive as immigrants !

Americans can go anywhere they want without problems. I never hear of Americans getting turned away.
