don't know if you guys have noticed this just in general life, but some people are always correcting what comes natural to the opposite gender, for instance at work once i noticed these girls looking at this guy saying 'god look at him cheeking her out that's creepy' Well guess what girls hes a man that's what we do when we find someone attractive! lol Hes not jack the ripper! Just jack lol. Then guys ohh my sister when something bad happens in the family she never stops crying! Well guess what shes a lady and emotional show some dam compassion and comfort her. Or hes always watching football or shes always on the phone or shopping, well have some folks not figured out that its the contrast in the two genders that make them awesome and interesting.

From a male perspective i don't think there is anything more beautiful than seeing a woman being and do exactly what she feels inclined to do like make up shopping, getting emotional so i have the chance to show love to her weather that be a friend or potential girlfriend. Its not my instinct to say stop crying and focus on the boxing lol I'm not out to turn her into a sargent major for heavens sake! haha.

So lets cut to the chase here what im trying to say is, are we, some of us at least trying to fix our opposites, rather than getting to understand and respect there differences? Should people be more educated in understanding males and females? And do many lack this what i consider important knowledge? Id like to read your views please.

Thank you! and can only decent thinking humans answer please, that id be very greatful for cheers.

  1. The whole equality argument is BS as far as I'm concerned. Men and women are different. Period. Yes, men and women deserve equal respect but don't expect men and women to behave the same because it just doesn't fit.

  2. Its human nature, males are out to prove there dominance and females are out to over prove there equality.

if you ask me, i feel the guys and girls who see men and woman as rightly equal but obviously different, are the once who except and get along with each other, eventually getting ahead of the idiots who quarrel this, its not about them (male or female) being male or female, it the individuals ego!

  3. That's a problem I have with feminism and other extreme ideologies because it perpetuates the kind of situation you described. Our differences are viewed as weaknesses.

I have been with and in love with the same woman for 5-6 years. When a beautiful woman walks by, sometimes she'll catch me getting a quick glance but doesn't make a big deal out of it. When she cries over something I think is trivial I simply comfort her and we move on with our lives. We don't necessarily understand one another all of the time but we respect each other.

  4. I believe that people are all different, and to categorically say that someone is male or female is making an extreme generalisation. Some women love sport, some men love shopping, and honestly I believe that for the most part 'men' and 'women' are the product of social structures, and not necessarily behaving in a way that is intrinsically natural. For instance, in regards to makeup if you look at the noblemen of 17th century France, they all wore copious amounts of makeup, as well as huge carefully curled wigs, very elaborate clothing, high heels, tights and behaved in a way that many people today would call 'g*y'. However, I very much doubt that they were all g*y or transgendered. Most people have male and female tendencies (what ever those are). I am a woman, and people often look at me like I'm a cold, hard person when I don't coo over babies, and I don't show much emotion which perpetually irritates me. I say lets break down the barriers and harmfull prejudices that damage others, and accept each person for who and what they are.

  5. FINALLY!!!! you put all of the thoughts in my head into words on the subject, when i couldnt. thanks man =D
