Why can you learn about a country's government by studying its constitution?

  1. When you know how something is SUPPOSED to work, it's easier to spot the areas that aren't working. Sometimes that's because the original plan was flawed, and sometimes it's because the original plan isn't being followed. But if you don't even know the plan, then it's harder to see the big picture.


  2. You can compare the laws that the country has with the constitution and see that the government is not following the constitution.

  3. You could find out what they thought when they started their country...then compare that with how they enforce it.

  4. Most laws are built around the constitution.  The question is The World Government of World Citizen's declaration is not being pushed by world leaders and those laws implemented.
