Why cannot I delete multiple (spam) files?

Question

unlike photo albums, I have to delete any spam files that are posted one at a time.

Can the file section be updated, so moderators can delete multiple posts (as spam), and highlight the spammer for attention at the same time?

yahoo is creating Beta groups, and this is suppose to possibly be included into that. I doubt since Beta is being created, that they'll do too many of those upgrades on the older groups
