Okay, I have Sims 2, Hot Date, University, and Open for Business installed and they all work perfectly. Ive had them all sent through rar. files(except Sims 2, which I bought and downloaded directly off of the EA Games site) and I use daemon tools to mount the images.

It seems that I got Season to install, but when I go to play the game, its still asking me to put the disk in the drive, but its mounted on my virtual drive.

Could be me just being a complete idiot, but after 2 days of trying to figure it out, thought Id ask around...

Thanks for reading my book...lol :)

  1. This might be a stupid answer, but maybe you should check to see if you're mounting the image as a letter that the system recognizes as the CD drive. For example, oftentimes if you mount an image as Disk Z, programs will not recognize it as a CD. Try mounting in on Drive D, or whichever is normally your CD drive.

Another solution could be just to just burn all of the files in the .rar archive onto a writable CD. That way you don't have to worry about virtual drives.
