Why cant I get my tongue piercing off ??

I'm still using the same one, I got it pierced with. It's been about 2 months. I decided to change it today but for some reason I cant get the little bead to come off. I spin it over and over, it wont come off. How do i get it off?

They usually put it on pretty tight at first.  They should've instructed you to come back to have it changed to a shorter barbell after a few weeks though.  If you can't twist it off yourself, then go back to the person who pierced it and they usually reach over and pop it right off.  I've had to do that with most of my piercings.

Try wearing some latex gloves to give you a better hold on the jewelry.

do you hold the bottom of the rod while twisting it off? because if so you're probably just twisting the whole thing around vs just the ball.

this happened to me with my nipple piercing and idk why the h**l it got stuck but i eventually i had someone take the ball off with pliers..which sounds terrifying, but it had to be done haha.

dry your tongue so its not wet.

hold the bottom bit firmly.

if nothing try twisting the other way :)
