I have made some photos of a special lunch into a movie using Windows movie maker and burned it onto a DVD. Now I can`t get the DVD to play on my pc or on my tv?

Can anyone help please.

  1. I've never used WMM but doesn't that create WMV files?  You need to create an MPEG2 file and make sure you are creating a DVD-Video not an ISO.  Your DVD should contain a folder called Video_TS which contains .VOB files.

  2. It may be in the wrong format...what format does your dvd play....if it plays all formats then I have no idea.

  3. If it does not play on the PC it may be the wrong format for a movie.  But you say you used movie maker.

If it does not play on the DVD player and the disc is a DVD-R or DVD+R it has to be finalized to make it compatible for playing on a DVD player.  DVD-RW and DVD+RW rewriteable discs do not need this step but they cost more per disc.
