Why cant I retrieve the pics from my memory card?

Question

On my laptop I would insert the memory card from my digital camera and it would automaticly pull up pics,now it doesnt.Is there something I can set or reset to get this feature working?

you could try restarting computer, though there should be software or program that auto detects disk, and should either start program, or appear as new drive:\E , may have been disabled,

check manual for card reader, or camera  name brand, and search in menu for short cut,
