Why cant I watch YouTube videos on my PSP?

Is it because I dont have a big enough memory card? I have a 1GB.

You see you need java script to play movies from youtube but unfortunately it wasnt built with the psp sorry but maybe they mite release sumthing

No, It has nothing to do with memory

unfortunately sony has not released support to watch youtube, so well just have to wait.

Unless, you have custom fw, then you can watch youtube with a homebrew called psptube

or you can download the youtube videos (use http://www.keepvid.com)

and then convert them to mp4 (http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html)

and then put it in your PSP/VIDEO folder

1. You can not use the PSP browser or the PSP Flash Player to watch youtube videos online.

2. If you want to get into homebrew/CFW you can try PSPTube.

3. You can convert Youtube Videos to MP4s using sites like vixy.net with your PSP or PC. Or you can get PC software converters.

Okey, you need to converte:)

I'm using moyea flv to video converter. With this tool, you can download, play, and convert youtube vids to formats that your psp supports. I'm using it for a long time and it works very well.

Install and launch the program.

You needn't get the url when downloading the vid.

1. Press the triangle button right behind the add button, and select "Run FLV Downloader", then "start recording"

Click in the page where the video is playing. The downloader will automatically save it to your hard disk.

2. convert the video to MP4 format

3. then save it to your "videos" folder of psp memory card. If u don't find the video on your PSP, you can modify the file name to the filename that is supported by PSP, e.g. M4V00019.MP4. The three characters can not be changed, as it is for video on PSP. You may change the five digits “00019” to other numbers you prefer with the list of videos.

I have been thinking the same thing until i realized that the psp doesn't have an updated version of flash player.  To watch youtube videos on the psp you need to have an updated flash player which sony has not released yet.  All you can do is wait.

the psp web browser can't watch youtube videos because the psp flash player is 6.u need flash player 9 to watch youtube videos.and u can't put flash player 9 on the psp.sorry.the only way is to get cfw on your pspand download psptube.thats the only way and i recommend if u don't noe anything about downgradeing then don't do it
