Why cant ducks have twins, like 2 embryos in one egg? Well, the egg probably wouldn't be big enough, but what other reasons? Like why doesn't a double yoked egg turn into twins?

  1. This depends on the male if he happens to be with the female it could happen MAYBE but I've never heard of ducks having 2 in one egg but any things possible these days.

  2. They cant because of what you said, the egg being too small for both. Also because of the yolk. There is not enuff yolk to support two lifes. It could be possible mabe, I would assume if you had a huge egg and double yolked, but its unlikly.

The double yolk wouldnt because of room. The yolk takes up most the space and could make the yolk explode in the egg causing rotten/dead hatch.

  3. There is always that one quirk of nature so anything is possible but probably not likely and for the very reason you mention.
