Why cant i be more confident?

how can i show a girl who i am instead of the shy guy. i cant help it i'm way to shy to ask a girl out let alone approach a girl. what can i do?????

First decide if you want to change who you are.If not I have 2 solutions.

Become Confident:

- Stop Caring, Don't be obsessed with peoples view of you. Do not completely stop caring but do not let it overwhelm you.

- Relax, Having fun with life will ease any situation. Do not worry so much, whats the worse that can happen.

- Remember, Confident is borderline Cocky. Do not cross that line.

Staying Shy:

shy boys are cute. just go up to her and ask her something about class or whatever. if you start on a small level, you can grow to talking about deeper or more meaningful things. eventually, you can ask her out. and if you're a nice guy who shares some of her interests, i can't imagine she'd say no.

basically, all you need to do is talk to her, about anything, just carry on a   good conversation with her, and once you start to get to know her a little, you'll feel more comfortable around her....and try to act confident
