From the time i was in the womb, growing up throughout my childhood,i've had to passive smoke because of my parents heavy smoking habit,i remember getting tonsillitis alot and having trouble breathing,i have been out a smoke free environment for a couple of years but i'm worried of the effect this has had on my lungs, recently they have started playing up,i gasp for breathe and have to yawn to force air into my lungs(if you get what i mean,i also suffer alot with backache(dont know if this is associated with my lungs),but im worried about it,i also get out of breathe just running up the stairs and i'm only in my 20s,what shall i do?

  1. Hey, aww thats no good!

you should book an appointment at the doctors as soon as you can because it could be a number things. My first guess would be asthma though mainly because when your gasping for air.

hope i helped and i wish you best of luck =)

  2. You might have asthma but I doubt it, if you have trouble breathing in you could maybe have this thing called vocal cord dysfunction. I have the same thing. You should go to your doctor to ask them about the possiblities about you having both asthma & vocal cord dys. b/c you could have both.  Hope I helped.
