Never going to happen.

In (private) pilot world, it is all about safety, safety, safety.  People in the car world, it is all about flash and show boating.  At least on the street, we don't have to worry about cars crashing into our living rooms.

I can't imagine all the NUTS who will want to DROP in on our houses - when they hand out license to fly a car.
