Why cant i download music on my samsung messenger?

i just got this phone from metro pcs and every time i try to download music from a site it says "unsupported content"...why is that? can someone please help me out

Try and download music into a file and then transfer it to your phone. Or download music from Lime wire and then download onto your phone.
