Why cant i download?

hey when i try to download from anywhere on the internet it pops up a messege that sayes Internet Explorer Cannot Download X6 from <random numbers depending on where i download from> Internet Explorer was not able to open this site. Please try again later.

completely agree with first answerer though i would stick with firefox 2

well internet explorer is just plain awful. switch to Mozilla Firefox.
