  1. Alcohol, expecially the ones you drank, contain sugar, which can cause you to be unable to sleep or relax.  I'm sure you've experienced a sugar high after eating a bunch of pixie stix or something.

The first few times that I got drunk, I would fall asleep and wake up four hours later and be unable to fall back asleep.

If you are a beginner, it may just take a while for you to get used to getting drunk then falling asleep.  If you are more experienced, maybe you should avoid mixing alcohol with things that contain sugar, such as soda or juice.  You may be able to search google for the sugar content of alcohols, so you can figure out which kind should be your best friend next time you party

  2. People have different reactions to alc and you really didn't have much, but to someone that's sensitive to caffeine even a sip of a coffee or alc drink can cause insomnia.

Keep experiencing your life, think deeply; learn about your body and yourself.

  3. Because booze can either make you very sleepy or very awake. Or you might just be thinking too much and it's keeping you up.

  4. Liquor messes with your brain's ability to fall into restorative REM sleep. It will always give you a bad night.
