Why cant i fall asleep during the day?

Question

even if i'm really tired, i still cant fall asleep during the day.

is something wrong with me? i only fell asleep in russia during the day, but that doesnt count cuz we judt came from america that day. anyway how can i fall asleep during the day. nothing works!!!(oh and i'm not in russia by the way)

A darkened room with no outside distractions is what helps me.  I run a small desk fan too and that helps block out  annoying noises in the house/neighborhood.
