  1. I have done the Plymouth to Santander crossing, also Plymouth to Roscoff. If you had done either in a force 8 gale like I did (and it was autumn) you would realise why the Company does not sail in February!

Also. very few people are on holiday at that time of year, so it would not be economic. Anyone who wants to go away would probably prefer to go somewhere warmer or use a shorter route. The Santander crossing takes about 24 hours, and that is a long time if the weather is bad.

  2. There are no bookings available during January & February. The company that sail to Santander are Brittany Ferries. You´ll need to ask them, but saying that, it´s probably to do with the bad weather and lack of people wanting to sail at that time of the year.

  3. where are you going from? Have your tried P & O or Brittany ferries websites?

  4. because the ferries don't run to santander in feb.

  5. Sounds like you should try flying, or going at some warmer time.

Remember the Armada?  Maybe that's why you can't find one.  And I'm pretty sure that wasn't the middle of the winter.
