Why cant i get yahoo music video to work?

Question

the video page opens up but nothing plays/no sound either.

the web site help says to turn off pop ups blockers which I've done but still nothing happens.

I've even sent an email to Yahoo help! but that was a week ago and I've not heard squat from them.

According to the system requirements windows XP or 2000 is required yet I have Vista...does that mean its compatible?...I would imagine it would be.

Also Firefox is stated as a requirement..this i do not have ..but I cant undertand why I need to install another browser just to watch music videos on yahoo website?

any help be appreciated thanks

Firefox is a much better browser,check out the website. ive had Mozilla for over two years, i wont use anything else.
